Belching and a bloated feeling are also telltale signs of peptic ulcer. Belching is the process of bringing up gas from the abdomen usually with a sound. A bloated feeling, on the other hand, is a sensation of being full or puffed up on the stomach.

Weight loss is another sign of an ulcer. With all the skipped meals and the improper diet, a person with ulcer will surely lose weight as expected. A person with peptic ulcer will lose several pounds in a matter of weeks.

Feeling nauseous and the urge to vomit are also observed in people suffering from peptic ulcer. Nausea is an extreme disgust for food. And that's coupled with the spontaneous urge to vomit. This is a direct result of the chemical imbalance inside the stomach.
